In its recent issue, The Nation Magazine highlights rampant sexual harassment at McDonald’s restaurants. The featured article, McDonald’s Has a Real Sexual Harassment Problem, recounts the stories of several McDonald’s employees who suffered egregious sexual harassment at work, including a Patterson Harkavy client, Lois Jones. Jones is one of dozens of employees across the country who has filed sexual harassment charges against McDonald's with the help of the American Civil Liberties Union, Time’s Up, and the Fight for $15. Jones is determined to hold McDonald’s accountable for the harm that she and many other employees have suffered. By standing up to the injustice she faced at work, Jones hopes to pave the path to safer and dignified work for her children.
Jones’s story was also covered earlier this year on ABC 11 Eyewitness News and the News and Observer. Other coverage of sexual harassment charges filed against McDonald’s can be found in New York Magazine, Time Magazine, The New York Times, USA Today, and The American Prospect.
